For the past 4 years, I’ve been creating TikTok AR effects that are fun, interactive, and impossible to scroll past. I’ve worked with brands like MTV, Rimmel, Netflix, and JD Sports, turning their ideas into engaging experiences.
Collaborating with an Art Director and leading a team of juniors, I’ve guided the process of conceptualising, designing, and building effects that leverage TikTok’s Effect House software while aligning with the platform's unique user experience. I've contributed to AR campaigns that seamlessly combined striking visuals with engaging UX, bringing them to life on TikTok with effects users genuinely love.

CHILL TO THRILL
An interactive effect for Rimmel that showcased the mascara’s before-and-after results. Featuring the iconic Union Jack background and glowing effects, the experience used head tracking, transporting users into the Rimmel world with a shake of their head!
Gained over 17m views + top 1% of effects
This branded effect was part of a DOOH campaign where motion assets were also created to showcase the new mascara. A QR code was featured in Westfield on a OOH billboard which allowed the audience to scan and use.
GHOST TYPE POKEMON
We created a spooky effect to debut Greavard, the new ghost-type Pokémon! A roulette flicks through ghost Pokémon, then vanishes as Greavard jumps out to surprise users. Once revealed, fans can control it with head movements, bringing the scare to life with 2D and 3D magic!

VMA MOON PERSON
To celebrate MTV’s 40th, we made a fun effect featuring their revamped Moon Person trophy. Users could drop the dancing 3D trophy into their space, grooving to Charli XCX’s Hot in It!

TRIBES OF EUROPA
We created an interactive Netflix effect for Tribes of Europa, letting fans pick their tribe with #TribesChallenge. Each tribe, Crows, Crimsons, and Origines had their own unique environments, textures, and colours. Users joined in with hand gestures like a fist, Kung Fu salute, or peace sign to represent their chosen tribe!
