I’m an avid TikTok enthusiast… to say the least .
Over the last 5 years I have been involved in creating multiple branded effects with TikTok, challenged to make them both engaging and interactive. I’ve worked with a variety of cool brands such as MTV, Rimmel, Netflix and JD Sports. From developing the effect’s UX and visual output to building within Effect House I’ve gained valuable experience within AR.

CHILL TO THRILL
Promoting Rimmel’s new mascara, Thrill Seeker 👀
Creating an interactive effect that allows users to show the before and after results of the mascara. Following the brand’s colours and identity featuring the iconic Union Jack as the background with glowing effects to emphasise the mascara’s bold impact on lashes. This effect had a head tracking trigger that transformed the user into the Rimmel world once they shook their head.
Gained over 17m views + top 1% of effects
This branded effect was part of a DOOH campaign where motion assets were also created to showcase the new mascara. A QR code was featured in Westfield on a OOH billboard which allowed the audience to scan and use.
GHOST TYPE POKEMON
Who’s that Pokemon? 👻
Creating a spooky branded effect to showcase the new ghost type Pokemon, Greavard. Working alongside a team of designers we built an effect that pranks the user into revealing a Pokemon that can be controlled by head movements.
On record a roulette starts to flick through ghost type Pokemon which then suddenly disappears while Greavard jumps onto the screen surprising users with its reveal. Once the Pokemon is on screen the user is then able to control the Pokemon with their head movements. Using a mixture of 2D and 3D assets to successfully present the spooky new addition to fans.

VMA MOONPERSON
Let’s get this party started 🕺🪩
MTV marked its 40th anniversary with a relaunch of the Moon Person trophy and so to celebrate this we created a fun branded effect to flaunt its make over. This branded effect allowed users to add the dancing trophy into their own environment. Using a 3D model of the new trophy we then added a funky dance which worked perfectly with the client’s chosen song, Charli XCX’s Hot in it.

TRIBES OF EUROPA
Choose your tribe 🫡
An interactive branded effect for a Netflix series, Tribes of Europa. An action fantasy series that takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where Europe has divided into a continent full of small tribes. The effect’s intent was to bring awareness to the series through showcasing the 3 main Tribes encouraging fans to pick a Tribe using the hashtag #TribesChallenge.
To present the differences of each Tribe distinctly we created environments that were suited to each Tribe featuring certain textures, colours and icons. Users could interact with each Tribe by a specific hand gesture, such as a fist for Crows, Kung Fu Salute (fist covered) for Crimsons and peace for Origines.
